Safe Travel in Indonesia during Covid-19

Indonesian tourism along with the rest of the world are unfortunately impacted by Covid-19. Our team are keeping track of the development in the destination to give you better insights on how to offer a safe travel based on recommendation from WHO & WTTC yet maintain the quality of luxury and exclusivity.

Entry Requirements From Overseas

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic in Indonesia, the Indonesian Government closed the borders for international travelers until further notice as per July 23, 2021. The Restrictions exempted the following travelers including but not limited to:
  1. Diplomatic and Official visa holders
  2. Diplomatic and Official stay permit;
  3. Holders of Indonesia Temporary Residence Card (KITAS) and Indonesia Permanent Residence Card (KITAP). Visit https://izintinggal-online.imigrasi.go.id/ for more information;
  4. Foreign nationals who are engaged in medical and humanitarian purposes in Indonesia;
  5. All non-immigrant crew members or cabin crews arriving any vessel or aircraft from any port or place outside Indonesia.
Mandatory entry :
  1. Completed COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card (Two-Dose of Pfizer or Moderna or Sinovac, AstraZeneca dan Sinopharm and Single-Dose of Johnson & Johnson)
  2. Quarantine for 8 days/7 nights at designated Government approved list.
Effective July 6, 2021, the Indonesian Government designated the following entry points for international travelers:
  • North Sumatra (Kualanamu International Airport – Medan)
  • Jakarta (Soekarno Hatta International Airport)
  • East Java (Juanda International Airport – Surabaya)
  • North Sulawesi (Samratulangi International Airport – Manado)
  • West Nusa Tenggara (Zainuddin Abdul Madjid Lombok International Airport – Lombok).

Domestic Travel Protocol

Last update: 2 September 2021.

Effective on August 12, 2021, all domestic travelers must follow the following protocols:

  • First dose vaccination card report
  • Travelers using air transportation with in Indonesia must show negative RT-PCR test which was obtained within 48 hours
  • Travelers with land transportatio present negative RT-PCR test which obtained within 48 hours prior departure or negative rapid antigen test 24-hour prior departure.
  • All travelers who are not vaccinated due to health condition proven by a medical memo are required to present negative RT-PCR test which obtained within 48 hours prior departure or negative rapid antigen test 24-hour prior departure.

From Bali to Java

  • First dose vaccination card & negative RT-PCR within 48 hours before departure
  • Second dose vaccination card & negative Antigen test within 24 hours before departure

From Bali to other island than Java

  • For PPKM level 4 & 3 required first dose vaccination and negative RT-PCR within 48 hours before departure
  • For PPKM level 2 & 1 required negative RT-PCR within 48 hours or negative Antigen test within 24 hours before departure

From Java to Bali

  • First dose vaccination card & negative RT-PCR within 48 hours before departure
  • Second dose vaccination card & negative Antigen test within 24 hours before departure

From other island than Java to Bali

  • First dose vaccination card & negative RT-PCR 48 hours before departure
